Lithgow Blast Furnace 1907-1928.

The Lithgow Blast Furnace was in operation from 1907 until 1928.
This was our first visit here and found it a fascinating place to walk around. What amazed us was that places like this are normally fenced off  and it was so much better to walk through the ruins than to just look at them over a safety fence.

I'm glad I wasn't standing here when it fell.
